Chicken chutney Kebab is a mouth-watering dish, marinated in a perfect blend of yogurt mixed with different herbs and spices.
These kebabs are very easy to make and can be grilled, baked or cooked in a BBQ (barbeque), but we are going to make these delicious kebabs without the use of any tandoor or oven or BBQ.
Chicken kebabs are without a doubt one of the most delicious and loved appetizers. These delicious kebabs can be prepared easily at home with the same restaurant taste, served with tangy yogurt chutney.
These soft & flavourful kebabs are a huge crowd-pleaser in any celebration, especially the cocktail party and making it at home makes it even healthier.

Chicken Chutney Kebab (without tandoor or microwave)| Spicy Chicken Kebab
Ingredients:-
- Chicken – 1kg boneless
- Oil – 2-3 tbsp for grilling
For First Marination:-
- Red chilli/ Lal mirch powder – 1-2 tsp
- Turmeric/ Haldi powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
For Second Marination:-
- Fresh Coriander leaves/ Dhaniya Patti – 1 cup or a hand full
- Green chilli/ Hari Mirch – 2-3
- Ginger-Garlic/ Adrak lehsun paste – 1 tbsp
- Curd/ Yogurt/ Dahi – 5-6 tbsp
- Mixed herbs – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method:-
How to make Tender Chicken Chutney Kebab
First Marination:-
- Clean the chicken nicely and remove the excess water if any.
- Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Mix it well and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Second Marination:-
- After about 2-3 hours we will do the second marination. In a mixer grind the fresh coriander leaves and green chilli and turn it into a paste (chutney).
- Add ginger-garlic paste to the pre-marinated chicken.
- Now add the green paste and curd.
- After that, we will add the dry spices and salt.
- Mix it all well.
- Keep it aside for about 15-20 minutes.
Making kebabs:-
- Heat the grilling pan and add oil.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces in batches.
- Grill on both sides until golden brown on medium flame. Do not overcook.
- When ready, always check that the chicken is cooked throughout and is not pink, before serving.
- The deliciously tender Chicken Chutney Kebab is ready. Serve it hot with green coriander chutney or tangy yogurt coriander chutney.
