Fiery Chicken Tikka

Chicken Tikka is a popular dish originated in India. However, it is famous in different parts of the world including Bangladesh and Pakistan. 
Chicken Tikka is made from small boneless pieces of chicken marinated in some fiery, spicy masalas which gives it a mouth melting juicy flavour. 


The most important factor behind the whole taste is the marination and the duration of marination. This is because during marination the chicken pieces not only absorb the flavours from the spices but also tenderizes which makes it soft and juicy.

The whole step by step recipe is discussed below. 

Ingredients:-

1.     Chicken - 250 grms
2.     Curd - 6 tbsp
3.     Red chilli powder - 1tsp
4.     Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
5.     Salt - to taste
6.     Garam masala - 1tbsp
7.     Ginger garlic paste - 1tbsp
8.     Kasturi methi - 1tbsp
9.     Onion - 1 medium size diced
10.   Capsicum - 1 diced
11.   Oil

Method:-


1. Marinate the chicken with turmeric, red chilli powder and salt for about 4-5hrs.

2. After the chicken gets marinated, add curd,ginger garlic p garam masala, kasturi methi, onion, capsicum and salt to it.

3. Mix them well and keep aside.

4. Now it's time to grill the chicken and so heat a grill pan and add some oil in it.

5. Add the marinated chicken and grill it on high flame for 2-3 mins, to get the smoky flavour and then on medium flame until it is cooked.
